This is especially important since the Scorpio N has had mixed safety ratings in various regions. They did and though it achieved a 5-star rating in 2022 Global NCAP, results of other tests revealed room for improvement. Powering the Scorpio N are two powerful engine options: a 2.0L turbo petrol unit making 203 PS and 370 Nm (380 Nm with AT), and a 2.2L turbo diesel available in two states of tune – 132 PS/300 Nm and 175 PS/370 Nm (400 Nm with AT).
What really separates the Scorpio N is it’s advanced 4WD system. The XUV700 diesel model is equipped with three drive modes—Zip, Zap, and Zoom—OSD (on screen display) and the 4 XPLOR terrain management system. Modes are there for normal roads, snow, mud and sand, and with a low-range gearbox, the Scorpio N is as off-road capable as it is of slaying highways.

The competitive Rs.13.99 lakh to Rs.25.42 lakh price range makes it a steal option compared to any compact SUV and offers full-size SUV presence and space.
Owners have appreciated its real-world fuel efficiency as well, with the diesel automatic returning a maximum of 14.6kmpl in the real world. This excellent size (4662mm long, 1917mm wide; 2750mm wheelbase) means there’s plenty of cabin room, so families and the adventurous are both well served.
